1. Kombucha Tea
Kombucha tea is a fermented tea that contains active cultures of bacteria and yeast. The fermentation process produces acetic acid and other compounds that are beneficial for gut health. Kombucha is a refreshing drink that can be enjoyed chilled.
- Ingredients:
- 5-6 bags of black tea
- 3/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 cup of plain kombucha
- 1 SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast)
- 8 cups of filtered water
- Directions:
- Steep the tea bags in boiling water. Remove the tea bags and add sugar to the hot water. Stir until dissolved.
- Add the tea mixture and remaining water to a large glass jar. Add the SCOBY and kombucha.
- Cover the jar with a breathable fabric and secure with a rubber band.
- Allow the mixture to ferment for 7-10 days, until the desired level of carbonation is achieved.
- Remove the SCOBY and reserve 1 cup of the kombucha for the next batch. Pour remaining kombucha into bottles and refrigerate.
2. Yogurt Parfait
Yogurt contains live cultures of bacteria and can be consumed in a variety of ways. A yogurt parfait is a delicious way to incorporate probiotics into your diet.
- Ingredients:
- 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup of granola
- 1/4 cup of blueberries

- Directions:
